Faculty Bio

Paige Carter
Mrs. Carter graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from East Central University in Oklahoma. She earned her master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Virginia Commonwealth University and is in the Ph. D. program in Special Education Disability Policy at VCU. Paige has also served at the VCU Autism Center for Excellence as a Technical Assistance Associate where she collaborated with school divisions across the state. Prior to that, Paige has served as an Autism Specialist and the Coordinator of Autism Programs. Mrs. Carter worked as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for Caroline County Public Schools from 1998 to 2006. During her career, she earned distinction as a National Board Certified Teacher in 2006 and holds a license as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She is passionate about providing inclusive ministries for children and youth of all abilities and is currently a member of Bowling Green Baptist Church.
